SADISM

There is beauty in the art of sadism. We were taught that light is the opposite of darkness and good has a negative correlation to bad, but I think everything exists for a reason. The bungee jumpers and the fuckers who would dare raise a razor to an innocent child's face. The very existence of both amazes me, and even though our society forces us to be taciturn or ignorant to the beauty in those things that are stigmatized as "evil."

I acknowledge the fact that they are all able to co-exist in the same realm. How dare we label and judge others, all in the name of existentialism or shall I call it pure double standards! I have flaws, so do a lot of you. You want and ask for your loved ones and acquaintances to embrace your flaws and accept them, yet you capitalize on the shortcomings of others and blame it on some subconsciously innate experience that must have shaped their being.

It is convenient, it is pointing a finger at someone, forgetting what happens to the remaining four, it is only natural...we are only human, and we should not let our prejudice nature get the best of us...but don't take it from me, cos I just judged you.

First!!!! Bravo. Isn't it ironic, there is beauty in sadism, yet the truth is ugly. Fantastic write-up

Yeah beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Those we label Psychopaths would see beauty in what we consider ugly, I guess.

But.

I love being judged & I love judging others. Not going to give that up. Let the heavens fall. lol.

I like the post. Caught a hint of vertigo when I read it. :)

it was a great post..its refreshing when someone makes me think of things in a new way. truth is tho, just like enoch, i think judging and being judged is indispensible to our way of life as humans. its the only way we know to grow, and till we find another, it works just fine. besides, judgement is not the same as prejudice. in prejudice u dnt care abt the facts, in making judgments, fact and reality are vital.

There's a bit of S & M in us all, to be honest... The very act of judging others is introspective whether we realise it or not. As much as I detest this word, when we "hate" on others, it is usually a reaction to something we don't like about ourselves... Case in point, women being overly critical of fellow females... So as we pick others apart, we are doing the same to ourselves... We girls get problem sha...
