HELL HATH NO FURY THAN A GOD 'SCORNED' BY HIS PEOPLE

                      

I was watching CNN while writing this post, and they were showing how the Haitian people were fighting for the food/aid/water that had been 'air-dropped' to them. And the whole scene really affected me, it completely showed me the animalistic/brute nature of man. Please we should be grateful for civilization/government everyday of our lives, because without civilization it would definitely be 'survival of the fittest'/Anarchy 24/7. Those Haitian people have gone without food for four days, some of them even longer. E go remain small and most of them will start eating the meat of the dead people around them. It's so saddening. I watched the 'Book of Eli' last night, that movie was WACK. If not because of Mr Denzel Washington and the respect I have for the homie, I would give that movie a solid F.


Anyhoo, there is something that some 'girls' do that really really ANNOYS THE FUCK outta me. So there's this babe who said that she would go 'crazy' if her boyfriend was ever to be away for 3 weeks. Saying that she would be 'crazy' simply because her boyfriend was no longer around was the height of stupidity for me. How can you honestly say that you'll go mad because a man is no longer around for a couple of weeks? So wetin go come happen if your boyfriend were to die then? Would she commit suicide?? Honestly, it's not healthy when some babes talk like that, it really is not.


Anyhoo unto the main topic sha lol, isn't it funny how with almost every post I write. I talk about two or three different things first before I go to the main 'TOPIC'?? I do not know why I do that. But anywayz what I wanted to talk about was the fact that God almighty has honestly been scorned somany times by his 'chosen/favorite' people the 'Jews'.. Am sure most of you who have read the bible can recall how many times God was scorned/disrespected by the 'Jews'... Everytime, they would stop worshipping him and go and start worshipping Idols, this happened like upto 18 times in the bible. It just got me wondering sha, what kind of God is unable to garner even a single morsel  of 'consistent respect' from the people he deemed as his 'chosen ones'?? Like seriously, if you think about this really well, God is almost like a woman who has been scorned countless times by her adulterous/cheating husband yet she still takes him back everytime he runs crying back to her. What advice would most of us give to such a woman? Would we not ask that such a woman dump the man? And if the woman rebuffed our advice would we not lose serious respect for such a woman? I mean lets think about this constructively, the other 'tribes' of people on earth represent other possible 'men' the woman could have picked. Yet she picked the 'Jewish tribe' to be her main man, yet time and time again she has been respected by this 'man/jews'. Even after God supposedly sent his 'Son of God' to the Jewish people they disrespected him again by killing his Son? Na wa for this kind of fuckerey in high places. Do you know that till today, most Jewish people are still waiting for the Messiah? Anywayz, my point is this, it really worries me that a people who have been closer to God more than any other 'people' on earth have never given him the respect he 'supposedly deserves'. I mean, if the Jewish people never deemed God worthy of their consistent respect, why should we? If God were a woman who continually welcomed back her cheating husband everytime he came back, wuld such a woman not be suffering from mugurity/mumurity of the highest order? Some serious self-esteem issues lol.
Lol, this last segment for the post was written because I was 'musing' about the whole thing, but I would appreciate if some creative//imaginative minds could appreciate where I was coming from. If you still do not get the point of the whole ish, then amma 'shrug' and ask you to seek Jesus fervently.
So am talking to my aunty right, and she believes that gay people are 'immoral/demonic' and she'll keep praying for them until they come out from the influence of that demon in them. Lol all I can do is sigh, I tried to convince her of the folly of her ways but to no avail. It's all good sha, afterall the bible says 'Love thy neighbor as yourself... but if your neighbor happens to be gay...Shoot dat MOFO!'
Fanatic Atheists annoy the heck out of me... I and blasphemy where just talking about this yesterday.. There are some atheists you'll meet who really detest everything and everyone religious. They consider religious people to be fools and ignorant. But honestly what sort of stupid approach is so daft. We are all human beings, no matter what our religious affliation is. If both religious and non-religious people cannot see/appreciate that, this our world is never going to be a better place. I forget who said this quote but it goes like this, "I've met good people who believed in God and I've met good people who did not belive in God.. But I've never met good people who did not believe in 'people'.. And that is what it is right there, I honestly do not care if people are religious or non-religious as long as they appreciate the humanity of every single human being on earth.

ARE CHRISTIANS GULLIBLE COWARDS IN PURSUIT OF IMAGINARY SELF INTERESTS?

God in heaven. I am about to blaspheme in your name. Don't sit there and watch me do this. Strike me dead before I can finish this sentence. Ok how about this sentence? You know what? I'll give you till the end of the post.

Well if you can read this I guess he/she/it is having an orgy or perhaps a hangover from a slumber party. Please no comments defending God. He clearly wouldn't do it for himself and no comments about that "thou shalt not test God" crap either. Any such comments as well as comments claiming I'm hell bound, makes the case this post intends to.

My last post got criticized for being somewhat cryptic. This one would keep metaphors to a minimum and avoid compound sentences. I'll try to reduce the "I don't know what he is talking about" effect. Was going to go full controversial today but I don't have the time to tackle the ensuing comments. So, the controversy dial is on moderate.

Enoch believes there is as much evidence for a God as there is for the Easter Bunny. And as stated in his last post, Enoch believes faith is just a cool word for subtle insanity. He lusts after being part of something larger than himself and the knowledge of a higher purpose but does not let that urge lead him to grab onto any belief regardless of its legitimacy just for the sake of quenching his longing. Enoch was born a catholic and developed doubts after he couldn't reconcile confessing his "sins" to a mere mortal like himself. That disgust formed the core of what grew to be his outright rejection of all things faith. Enoch believes that Kids should not be groomed in any one religion and so deserve the right to choose for themselves prejudice-free upon reaching adulthood. He also believes that Christians born into the faith are too conditioned to see the folly of their beliefs and later in life are often just too cowardly to reject it as the lie that it is. Cowardice that really isn't due to any fault of theirs.

My most amusing recurrent experience involves Christians trying to convince me of the existence of God with quotes from a book whose history they know little about (A book they believe without doubt solely because the book demands that they should while threatening death for doubting.) And this is true for a disproportionate number of christians. They know Paul, Mathew, Mark, Luke, john, etc But have rarely ever heard of Papias of Hierapolis, Irenaeus of Lyons, Eusebius of Caesarea or any other of the handful of early Christian scholars that determined who authored what book in the Gospels. $60 bucks says 80% of Christians reading this do not know these men and the role they played in putting together the New Testament. They rarely know&couldn't care less that modern historians can not confidently decipher authorship of the gospels.

You see, that is my problem. Even if you are determined to believe, don't you owe yourself at least 5 to 10 minutes worth of research to have an objective sense of the history of the book you want to believe? As I have said repeatedly on this blog and as I often ask Christians; Who wrote the New Testament books? How do you know so? If learned folks can't tell, how can you? Do you know there were several books claiming to be authored by the disciples that were rejected? How do you know those were not the real books? How do you know that the devil hasn't carried out a sinister plot designed for you to read& believe crap?

Shouldn't it give a devout follower of Christ cause for concern to learn that the three authors of the new testament that speak about the timing of Jesus' birth give inconsistent details? Mathew claims it was in the time of Herod who died 4BC. Luke claims it was in the time of Augustus whose reign began in AD6 and John throws his own dice and claims its 18BC. I have said it a million times and I will say it again. If those scholars had their own agenda or are of poor judgment how can anyone be certain of the authorship of the Gospels? And if you insist on believing anyway, how can you confidently believe stories about imaginary winged creatures and a human-esque God from the same people that can't get right the date of birth of their lord and savior who they walked the earth with? And even if it were authored by the real disciples why are we obliged to believe them and say not Joseph Smith or Muhammad etc?

Little parable:
Imagine you've got $200,001 in your pocket(huge pocket) and some dude wants to sell you a treasure map that leads to a billion dollar gold chest. He demands $200,000 for this map. The map has a scribbling on the right corner that claims it is authentic. It also makes one of those claims common to silly chain emails; "If you doubt this map and do not seek the treasure, you die in three days." Wouldn't it be gullible and cowardly to buy this map and believe it because the map itself claims its legit? Wouldn't it be just as cowardly to reject suggestions of subterfuge because you've spent all your life seeking the fictitious treasure? If the treasure was eternal life, wouldn't the map deserve the least bit of research and oodles of doubt?

Lets call a spade a spade. A good number of religious folks/Christians are just gullible cowards and others are driven by self interest to make it to heaven by all means. While some are cowards because of the fear of eternal damnation others are cowards because they've invested too much in a lie and are just too cowardly to cut their losses. Too scared to even consider an opposing idea let alone accept one as truth especially if it is more depressing than the lie they've embraced. Not to mention the ones that are too cowardly to imagine/handle life without a higher purpose. Too cowardly to see life as the empty struggle that it is, so they make up fact-free feelgood stories and believe them and call it having faith. Truth makes no accommodations for feelings.

About half a dozen more questions:

If the hell portion was taken out of religion how many religious followers would remain? If the heaven portion was taken out of religion, how many followers would loose motivation? If Jesus,Allah, yaweh, shows up with a global megaphone and goes like "Hey guys, we've decided heaven and hell were bad ideas. We hereby scrap them. see you later." How many religious folks would scream "Thank God!!" and how many would want to litigate?

Why does the Cristian God deem it necessary to threaten her creatures with eternal fire? And tantalize them with everlasting life? If she really wanted to know those that love her why doesn't she just leave the hell/heaven part out of her book and surprise us after death? Is there any such thing as an omnipotent omniscient being? Is such a being "wise enough to make a rock it can't lift?" I don't think any all powerful being that demands love and discipleship under the threat of eternal death deserves either. Creator or not, hellfire or hellfreezer; She should spend eternity alone or with her singing stones/whatever. But then she is no more real than the tooth fairy that controls the sphincter in my ass.


Is "Christian" a synonym for "gullible coward in pursuit of imaginary self-interests"?

Before I go on, I want to apologise for the rudeness I displayed in my last blogpost. So there you have it, I am sorry. Now back to the sermon.
SERMON:
Please open your bibles to 1 Timothy 2:9-15.
9I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, 10but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.


11A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. 12I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent. 13For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. 15But women[a] will be saved[b] through childbearing—if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety.


This passage right here, was the first ever "question" I had as a kid about the bible lol, I remember grandmomsy taking me to the pastor for him to answer this question. And to the best of my knowledge, that Pastor never answered my question.
My friend EDJ challenged me to come up with something contradictory in the New Testament, seeing as everything I've challenged so far has been from the old testament. So here we have Paul giving us, instructions for worship.
Paul from verse 10 says a woman should learn in "quietness" and "full submission". In verse 12, a woman is not permitted to "teach" or have "authority" over a man; She must be SILENT. Then in verse 13, he gives his reasons for why it should be so.
If you are a woman and you profess to be a christian, you should not be in a position of authority, at least you should not be in a position of authority over a man. One can infer that women can be authorities over other women/children but not over any man.
Now remember on Thursday night I told you guys about the argument I and my friends were having over the bible that stretched into the early hours of the morning. Well we touched on this subject and my friend said that all women Bishops/Pastors/Reverends are "SERVING GOD IN DISOBEDIENCE". I then asked him, are those women going to hell? My friend replied with a "Yes". I now asked again, so the people who attend a female pastor's church are all going to hell then? I mean if they are attending the church and they are being led by a woman, all the men in that church are headed to hell. My friend replied with another "yes". I was excited about that but not fully satisfied. Let us broaden this passage up a little bit, and take it into the corporate world etc, women in any position to hold authority over men are all going to hell. They are not permitted to be over any man, neither are they permitted to teach. So all female lecturers/CEOs/HighSchoolTeachers are all headed to "HELL". The question is, were those instructions to all WOMEN, or where they only to women who had aspirations to serve in positions in the church? If you say that they were only to women who had aspirations to serve in the church, then surely you would agree that the women who disobey the instructions blatantly are headed to hell. If you agree that the instructions were to all women, then again you would agree that every woman right now pursuing a degree in college so they can go "lord" it over any man whatsoever, every woman like that is going to "HELL"
There are those who will challenge this post and say that I should stop cherrypicking passages, I should read the whole biblical passage and understand it. They are correct and I have taken the liberty of reading the whole passage and I would post the passages before verse 9 but they are to long, but I assure you that those passages have nothing/have any bearing on the passages from Timothy I pointed out.You can read the rest of the passages here.1 Timothy 2:1-8


P.S - I have no problem with women serving in position of authority, or lording it over men.I am perfectly fine with that, but I mean the "bible" trumps all.I am honestly ashamed of some of these socalled christian women who blatantly ignore the instructions of the bible and act like that passage in the bible does not exist. I just discovered what "P.S" means today, I always use it but never understood what it meant. It's latin for Postscript or something like that lol.
