Used to be Azazel. But that was the old me, you get older, you grow. You gain new insight. You refine your beliefs.

WHY DO GIRLS ALWAYS GIVE IN??
First of all, the title of the post is a generalization. Girls do not always give in, but most of the time they do LOL.
Now some of you probably think am talking in terms of giving into sex or peer pressure but sadly and most unfortunately that is not the case.
The type of 'giving in' am talking about is where a guy and girl have a little spat and then communication ceases for awhile, no more phone call, no more tweets, no more bbm, aim, yahoo messenger, NOTHING. And if you the two people are on some 'Oleku' level the 'no communication' probably lasts for 2 weeks until one of them usually the girl starts to 'THINK' and suddenly she's imagining whether he's ok? Whether she was at fault? Whether she shouldn't just give in and Ping him? Ping the living day lights out of that baggar until he responds lol.
Like for me for example, am a cold cold dude lmao, I can go a month and I won't ping you. Or even think of contacting you, I will literally forget you ever existed. (Got that from my mama) lol I kid I kid.
My point is this though, I was talking to a female friend of mine about that and I believe that the women who actually make the effort to be the first to restore communication are obviously the 'bigger person' in the relationship. And NOPE women are not weak because they finally bow and give in and pick up the phone and call, it actually takes a lot of strength to do that. So to all those lovely women who've realised that nobody ever choked
by swallowing their pride and picked up their phone to call that 'baggar of a dude' to
reconcile. I say to you 'More Grease to your ashy ashy elbows" lol.

BULLSHIT.
Lol how so??
I totally agree. Making the first move is not easy o, especially after a quarrel.
I like "it actually takes a lot of strength to do that" cos I realize it takes alot of "pride swallowing". And yes, most women will give in, you are free to generalize...
Why Azazel this post is so unlike you.. Makes it feel like you have a heart.. Lol..
But all the same.. We mustn't make the move all the time o.. Cause the guys just come you take it for granted or the silence might just be their own way of telling you to take a hike and stop bothering them..
But I get your point..Guys that share same opinion as you might just be 20% or even less..
I like to make the first move because he/she who makes the first move gets to yell at the other person first.
I make the first move post-argument so that I can get MY point across to him and he can understand that I am not annoyed for "no reason". If I don't, he'll just go around thinking he's right the whole time.
Its really quite selfish actually.
2cute2: I love it when Azazel goes all mushy
idk about this post. I'll be back
i can tell you that i usually dont give in.
im selfish, i do not want to be the bigger person.
its like a contest, the person who contacts the other person first looses. and you know me, i LOVE to win.
so yes, i am the smaller person, i dont care.
Myne.
Yup, it takes the bigger person ...

Not everyday is for fire and brimstone dear lol, gotta change it up once in awhile.
EDJ
I've never heard of it coming from that view o, cus usually the person who makes the first move is the one coming from the position of 'meekness and humility' lol.
@ leggy
Ha we are very much alike, and you know I like to win.
But the question then becomes what are we really winning? Temporary satisfaction or temporary gloating at the expense of a relationship that probably mattered a lot to us.
Haha well when I make the first move post-argument, I ALWAYS start with stating why I believe I am right.
Later on, I may concede a bit--maybe. But I reach out first so I get my point across first.
LOL, I applaud you my dear, you have finally seen the way!! Now, please tell this to my 'boyfriend'...
Iol I give in sometimes, depending on how much that person means to me, but if my plan is to cut that person from my life, then it's bye bye from then on, no pinging, calling, or wall to walls.
true talk. Because me as i sit here typing, i can hold a grudge and even forget we were ever friends...lol it takes a lot to piss me off though
i never give in o....but i shud change that cos that cud just ruin a relationship
Lovely post fam. Seems like something I coulda written. I have to tell you, when I fault out with someone myself (even tho I no be lady) It usually takes a while for my anger to burn out, and I go "Hey, you good?"
If you've been the first person to reach out after a fallout, you know it is the greatest mind relief ever! I absolutely love to be the first. I really feel mature doing that, plus it solidifies your relationship for a long time if not forever. Except say d mumu just like to dey fall out because dem like ur beg beg. lol
But I must say, from my experiences that some people just love to be apologized to mehnnnnnnnn!!!!! shet!!!!!!!
True Talk @ Sugar King..
There are definitely somepeople who just loved being apologised to.
It gives them some sort of satisfaction.
True,true...it takes maturity to look past the present-and go out of your way to make the first move,to reconcile. It usually works out fine...but then again, some folks aren't worth the time or effort.
True @ folks sometimes not being worth the time and effort
